This was received via email from Ian (pen name Michael Merson) who has successfully had his novel accepted by Frog Books of India He is regularly in touch with Sunil Poolani the editor who you can look up on the internet. They will be doing all the marketing media work etc. They also cover the Indian sub continent, Singapore etc. After editing it they also want a blurb for the back page from me, a brief biography, photograph and an idea for the cover although they have the final say, dedication and acknowledgements. I have put you and Helen down in the acknowledgements for the editing work you both did for me. The book should be on Amazon by the middle of September. I have completed the first chapter of the sequel 'Return To The Stars' in case they want another one! Marjorie Briggs Secretary

Those who have purchased the book have said that that found it enlightening that some of the authors are also artists and have produced their own illustrations. Elizabeth (Betty) Hetherington produced illustrations for several stories and Cecilia Satterthwaite illustrated her own. The stories are varied and suitable for all age groups. They are available from any member of the group or South Moor Library at a cost of £3.50. We hope you will enjoy reading these stories to your children or grandchildren or indeed to any child that may be in your care. Happy reading
